ACCA provides a wide range of government-funded home and community care services. The majority of ACCA’s service staff has formal qualifications in nursing, social work, and/or aged care.

Australian Chinese Community Association (ACCA) provides a wide range of government-funded home and community care services. The majority of ACCA’s service staff has formal qualifications in nursing, social work, and/or aged care. They are supported by an efficient administration team based at head office in Surry Hills. Services are provided in the homes of clients, at community centres, or on ACCA’s own premises.

Funded by Department of Health, these services provide high quality affordable and flexible care for older people so that they can continue living independently in the home of their choice as long as possible. These services also support family members, friends and neighbours in their caring role. The type of services include the following:

  • Companionship

  • Shopping

  • light housework

  • transport to appointments

  • bill payments, banking

  • assistance with cooking

  • showering and dressing assistance

  • grooming

  • and outings.

A senior staff is on emergency roster 24 hours/7 days.
