Country Women's Association TAS
We’ve been serving Tasmania since 1936, coming together to help improve the lives of women and their families and communities, with a special focus on those living in regional, rural, and remote areas.
CWA in TAS is a not-for-profit, non-party-political, and non-sectarian incorporated association of volunteers from all over Tasmania.
We’re best known for our iconic ‘tea and scones’ catering, which raises valuable funds for the causes we support.
But there’s so much more to CWA! As part of the largest women’s organisation in Australia, we contribute to real and meaningful change through coordinated and effective lobbying, advocacy, education, fundraising, community service and sharing knowledge, skills, and friendship.
